CoCounselling events include training courses open to the general public and gatherings, both national and international, which are open to those who have completed the 40 hour basics training to become part of the CoCounselling network.

National Gatherings
National gatherings are held twice a year in the inspiring location of Tongariro National Park. The focus is on building community, sharing skills, workshop and session space with opportunity to conduct any National Network business.
The events are peer organised, based on CCI coco culture, child friendly and drug and alcohol free. A summer gathering over Wellington or Auckland anniversary weekend and a winter gathering over Queen’s birthday weekend provide the perfect opportunity to experience the warmth of community with the contrast of the seasonal change and soulful, natural beauty and diversity of our National park landscapes.
The Auckland network also holds monthly Monday gatherings and the Wellington Network meets irregularly, often over a potluck meal.
International Gatherings
Every 3 years Co-Counselling Aotearoa hosts an international CCI gathering in NZ for CCI Co-Counsellors. We particularly welcome CCI’ers from other countries and have a strong local contingent. And Kiwi CoCounsellors often travel to International Gatherings held in other countries.
